‘Water is a human right’ was first painted in Munich during ‘Z common ground’ festival on a house that since has been torn down. So, I was very happy to got invited to Munich again to paint this commissioned piece at a more permanent location. This version focuses more on water as a luxury, including using real gold to highlight some details.
This new painting is located in the Maxvorstadt district of central Munich. A bit hidden away but still visible if you look into the house’s entrance. It features some site/customer specific variations, like the champagne bottles and adding the text as an inside joke (it translates to “Water is luxury. One has a choice”).
