CUT-OUTS are made of individually cut stencil layers. Each layer is cut by hand from thick, coloured paper which are then mounted in layers on top of each other (much like a traditional stencil). Because thick paper is used, the motives show a lot of texture and create a 3D-like effect.

For this one of a kind version of 'Likes don't feed' the layers were laser cut out of thin ply wood, stained with wood stain and mounted on top of each other using wood glue. The background is made of composite gold.
