Collaboration with Jenna Carpenter and Sequence Unlimited. We painted this piece during Monsanto’s move to plant their wicked crops in Argentina (the world’s largest producer of soy beans). We got a wall in Coghlan, Buenos Aires and started with some nice flowers and happy background but then continued to add more and more disturbing things, such as the syringe wielding giant octopus of death.
The text reads: “No to Monasanto! Yes to life! The main crop planted in Argentina is the genetically modified soy bean. It is sprayed with 180-200 million liters of the herbicide Roundup which causes cancer, birth defects and contaminates the water.”
