In April I was invited to transform one of the old hotel rooms in Street Art City. Street Art City is a Museum some hours south of Paris near Lurcy-Levis. I stayed for about a week, painted a little spot outside and some canvas which are for sale onsite. The main piece, however, is painted in an entire room with a motive featuring Mark Zuckerberg and his aspiration for presidency and influencing elections. And as Paris is so close to Madrid the trip continued and with a bit of luck I got to paint a shutter at the Pinta Malasaña Festival, which takes place for just one Sunday in the heart of Madrid. The organisers were so kind to allocate me a shutter at a Burlesque shop, which was the perfect setting to paint “Mas amor x favor”. I very much enjoyed the laid back vibe of Malasaña, getting into contact with the locals and above all the gooey goodness of Spanish hot chocolate!
