‘Styx/the ferryman (of the EU) was the first mural I painted during the 40 Grad Urban Art Festival in Duesseldorf. In it you see the grim reaper or the ferry man relocating from the river Styx and now welcoming all those refugees from the middle East and Africa to the promised land of Europe. They paid their fees already, time to pick them up in his shitty dingy. On the floor I added two painted boards, one of a head the other of a hand, as if they were drowning into the carpet.
