I prepared this stencil for a Festival that was cancelled in the last minute. So, I found myself a nice wall under a bridge and painted it over the course of a rainy weekend. It shows an interpretation of Maslow’s pyramid of motivation. Here, I used photos from different decades of the 20th century to show how people dealt with their self perception. At the bottom is a group of men graduating from school. Sitting there and waiting patiently for their picture to be taken. In stark contrast the girl on the top, quickly snaps a selfie.
It is a good example if you want to see how I paint really big stencils.
