‘The quote is taken from German poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, who wrote down these words nearly 200 years ago. Here, it seems to be written on a wall, behind the stencil of an oblivious girl taking a selfie with the quote in the background. Though, the words are old, they are still true especially in the light of mass surveillance of our social activities. The mural also addresses our need to capture every moment, share everything and take selfies, without thinking, without reflecting..

‘I painted these murals on walls in Dresden (Germany), during the Muehlheimer Nacht Street Art group show in Cologne (Germany) and on a wall of fame in the beautiful city of Odense in Denmark.
