A few months ago I was invited by streetart legend LOOMIT to paint the ‘Opium Den’ at Werksviertel, in Munich. This area is a great open air gallery, where many famous street artist such as Os Gemeos painted. Some weeks later the motive was featured at ‘KunstLichtLeben’ (ArtLightLife) during the ‘Lichtwoche Muenchen’, a festival about everything to do with light and art. Most of the street art today is enjoyed during the day, so it is very special to see it illuminated and how it works with artifical light, something I am not used to anymore, as I have not been painting during the night in a very long time.
