I had a very exciting week as I am exhibiting some of my works on canvas and prints at the “Haus der Kunst” in Bad Harzburg, Germany, located in the beautiful region of the Harzer mountains, close to Braunschweig, Hannover etc. For that occasion I painted a new mural, “(7 Daughters of) EVE” on an outside wall of the gallery. You can watch the video of the process, above.
The work deals with two scientific observations concerning the question of where do we come from. Apparently, all living Europeans map back to only 7 women that lived some thousands years ago. You might see that Eve has blue eyes, that is because all blue-eyed people (independent of being from Africa, Europe, Asia etc.), too, share only one common ancestor.
