I made it into the Wildcard drawing of the ‘Millnertor Gallery Festival’ which is hosted by the football club FC Sankt Pauli (Hamburg) and the NGO Viva con Agua e.V. The idea is to showcase work that engages with social and environmental issues. At the end of the festival the art work is sold and 70 % go to Viva con Agua which is working on improving water supply and sanitation worldwide.
Each year the Festivals invites a handful of artists and holds a vote for one Wildcard. To go you need to win the votes. So, if you want to see me participate this year, check out my newsletter here, because if you vote for me you get into the draw of winning a limited edition screen-print from my gallery (you can chose from any 29 x 21 cm print). To be eligible you have to be on my mailing list, so make sure you sign up. Polls are open til the 31st of March and the winner will be notified on the 2nd of April 2016.
