Thea Lang Collective’s third installment ‘Komm auch du schau zu’ (Come take a look) is a shocker. This painting has been passed back and forth between me and Elmar Karla multiple times, adding and changing parts of it. In the end I am very please with the outcome, it is hard to look at but the truth is even worse. The composition of this critique of the meat industry was Rembrandts painting “The anatomy lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp”. The original is available here.
