About a week before the Easter Holidays in Germany, the motive ‘Reisefieber – Travel Fever’ appeared next to a travel agency in Hamburg’s Sankt Pauli district. Vaccination against Covid had just started and the first people were about to fly out to Mallorca to get some of that “normal ” back. Unfortunately, most people are not that lucky (and I am not talking about the citizens not being in the priority club). While rich countries have bought almost 54 % of the available vaccine doses, many third-world countries wont get any in the coming year(s).
While this motive seems to be about traveling to exotic locations it really is about a traveling virus and vaccine inequality. Vittoria Benzine  wrote a beautiful piece about this work for Street Art United states. The article can be found here  and some more information about the poster on this site, here.
