A few months ago I got a call from Caro Eickhoff who had done an interview with me for her street art blog last year. The Kunsthalle Wilhelmshaven  was planning an street art exhibition inside their halls. On first glance this might not be such a big thing to a fine artist but for a street artist it is an entirely different thing. When your canvas normally consists of old, dirty and abandoned ruins or any wall you can find outside, the pristine wall of a museum is something completely unique.

So, I dropped everything, made some room in my calendar and went for a couple of days to Wilhelmshaven, Germany’s biggest marine port. There I painted the piece “Freedom Fighters”  showing the heads of state/maniacs of the 8 nations possessing nuclear weapons. Click on the link above to head to the full description or just enjoy the video of the painting process.

The exhibition: “ungeniert/engagiert: Kunst aus den Strassen Berlins” can be seen at the Kunsthalle Wilhelmshaven from the 23rd of July until the 24th of September 2017.
